Check the Kirby Safety Switches
There are two safety switches on your Kirby. One is on the front of the and one is on the side where the bag attaches. If the main head/nozzle or hose isn't attached to the front of the system the Kirby will not turn on.
There is also a safety switch on the side of the unit where the bag attaches, If the plastic bottom part of the bag (emptor) isnt pushed tightly against the Kirby it wont switch on. Try removing the bag and put it back on again and make sure it clicks tightly into place and switch on again.

If the Kirby turns on and off while using and you have checked the safety switches as described above, then call our help desk as the issue is more likely to be electrical or power cable related .
